THE DRIVE-IN
September 22, 2009 08:33 PM PDT
The Kitchen Sink embraces the return of Autumn with an exploitation-filled episode celebrating the raunch, the gore, the violence, the occult and hilarity of drive-in movies past. The Dickies
We've also included audio clips and trailers from some of the drive-in "classics" for good measure. For those of you old enough to remember the excitement of the drive-in, this episode will either leave you trembling in fear (at how old you are) or laughing hysterically. And don't forget to support some of our friends by clicking on the links below. www.eloquentbooks.com/trailsandtribulations.html

From birthday #44, to the Perseid meteor shower (8/12-14), to Woodstock's 40th, to honoring "Mr. 6-String" himself, Les Paul, and the 10th anniversary of my wedding date, this episode of The Kitchen Sink covers all the bases. Beatrice Straight

The Kitchen Sink puts it's foot down and gets around to playing songs that just couldn't get passed over anymore...a Pandora's Box of rejection, if you will. Some seriously deep tracks, B-sides and songs we know you haven't heard in a while...if ever. Television

Welcome to what was easily the hardest show we've ever had to put together. What was suppose to be a simple episode about cartoon superheroes became a near four month odyssey that morphed into something else entirely. How does one cull all this wonderful music and give it enough cohesion so it make any kind of "aurul sense"? I don't know, but this is what we've come up with for your listening pleasure. The Clash
